“Giovani Angeli” Monument

This monument, dedicated to those young people who died before their time, has been created by the sculptor Giuseppe Ranaldi, by the desire of the parents of one of those young angels.

The sculpture rests on a travertine base and it was built according to the architectural style of Sabaudia. The base is surmounted by a bronze sculpture that embraces with its left hand a broken tree symbolizing the broken earthly life. Its right hand holds a pair of wings that represent the new heavenly life.

The monument was unveiled on October 2, 2005 and it is situated in Parco Medaglie d’Oro.

The side avenue, dedicated to the monument was unveiled in 2008.
